Have you ever tried Channa Ladoos?  Well if the answer is no, then you seriously need to try making these soon. And do you know the best part? Its winters, just the perfect time of the season to have these deliciously sweet Channa Ladoo. Made from roasted channa these ladoos are not just toothsome but are healthy as well.

This recipe comes from my maternal grandmother. I still remember how often she used to make these Channa Ladoos for me especially during the winter season. She always believed that they are best to have as they packed with benefits of clarified butter (desi ghee) and roasted channa (which I won’t eat otherwise).

Ingredients

  1. Heat clarified butter on medium. Add channa powder and saute over medium heat. Stirring continuously.
  2. Wait till it starts to change color then add the crushed almonds and keep mixing.
  3. Roast for another 3-4 minutes or until its nice golden brown and then remove from heat.
  4. Keep stirring the roasted channa powder and then add the powdered sugar and mix well till the sugar is well combined. Keep aside and let it cool a bit.
  5. Now, take small portions and make medium round ladoos and serve or store it in air tight container
